The victim was driving along the 500 block of Basket Road when he crashed and was propelled from his vehicle, authorities in Rucombmanor said.
The fatal crash happened around 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 24.
Police did not name the victim.
Chief Dale Ulshafer said detectives are still investigating what led to the accident.
